That's $18.50 a bale hay he's laying in!
funny! We live on horse property and the people who house I see out my office window have horses. Usually they are standing, walking. playing. Last week I noticed one was laying down. I didn't immediately worry. Then 15, 30, 45 minutes went by and it was still laying down. So I called my neighbor to tell her...and she laughed and said that was her lazy horse...like long naps....lol
We like neighbors who call with concern, as one saved Teaky's life. Don had missed latching the gate to the barn, and Teak opened the gate, walked straight to the grain can, knocked the lid off, and started dining.
My non-horsey neighbor called, wondering if he should be in there?
Thanks to her, he didn't founder or colic!
